Heartland

Hi all,

I'm a 25 year old guitarist based in Rhino's old home town of York, looking to form a drum-machine band! All I need is a singer and a bass player (male or female) of a similar age keen to write original material. I've been wanting to get this of the ground for a while but can't seem to find the right people, and as a Sisters fan for a decade now, a friend recommended I advertise here. I can play (no punk nonsense here) and have the drive to make something of it!

Leeds side of York?

South of the city, so easy access to the A roads, but of course York/Leeds is a doddle by train!

what's wrong with punk nonsense? apart from a vision (maybe) the sisters started with nothing better.

The punk ethic and vision towards making records and promotion was fantastic, but the first wave of bands from the 76/77 period never really did anything for me I'm afraid!

Willing to meet for beer/beverages and a chat before any notes are played!
