GW2: Preview, update and review (Deadline 14 Aug 18:45)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

So what's that head-to-head business about then? Apparently you beat me last week Johnny, ah well good game good game.

I promised myself I'd more risks this season (or gambles at any rate), so Rodriguez as captain, definite hat-trick at home to Everton (soz Fiendy) coming up. And once everything's settled down I might even bring myself to risk starting a GW on minus points, insane a proposition as that is for low scoring squad members.

Whatever happens, I'll be paying more attention this season. And chortling as Howard keeps fishing the ball out of his net on Saturday.

Does Tim Sherwood actually listen to himself before he opens his mouth?
On the Traore signing today
He's physically a man - and he has been for some time
Wut?

#AVFC XI to play #MUFC: Guzan, Bacuna, Richards, Clark, Amavi, Veretout, Gueye, Westwood, Ayew, Agbonlahor, Sinclair.

#mufc XI: Romero, Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw, Carrick, Schneiderlin, Mata, Memphis, Januzaj, Rooney.

And so it begins... Good luck all! :von:

Wanyama starts. :D
Just looking at Rooney's stats from last night.
Not very impressive were they?
& I bet no-one picked Januzaj.
Cheers.

Rooney was absolutely awful last night. With only Chicarito as back up I bet LVG is scanning the lists of available strikers right now. I'd happily send him Super Mario.

It's odd isn't it?
When Chicarito actually got a game at Really Sadrid, he would usually score. I seriously don't get why he doesn't get more games. I'd soil myself if I had to mark the bloke.
Cheers.

The swings of fantasy football.

The number of managers with the West Ham keeper has more than trebled since last weekend. Then this happens:

Late drama as West Ham goalkeeper Adrian is sent off! He was up for a corner, and was watching the ball drop as he stuck his boot into an opponent's chest. Red card.

:D Up to second in the Classic League after last night, a double for Lukaku at lunchtime and then down to East End Park to see the Pars win 7-1. If Carlsberg did footie weekends ...
