GW4: Deadline Saturday 29th Aug 11:45

The last weekend before we are all forced to suffer an international break where we worry more whether our players get injured than whether our chosen international team wins.
It's also the last weekend before the closing of the transfer window (aka Jim White day). It can't close fast enough for me.
Will Saido go to Spurs?
John Stones has handed in a transfer request (according to sources at Sky Sports). Not that Evertonians have any right to demand any loyalty given they stole him away from Barnsley for a paltry £3m (I'm so hoping Barnsley got a clause in the transfer entitling them to 20% of any sell on price).

Afternoon all.. I'll jump in here! Is infiltrating the enemy and psyching them out a thing?

Any diversionary tactics would be welcome - it draws attention away from what is becoming an embarrassing run of wins for IGM.

I hate this loooong transfer window indeed. What, for example, if Manchester City takes De Bruyne from Wolfsburg today? Another massive shifting of the force...

It is a bit of a PITA innit?
They really ought to shut it when the season starts.

Noooo! Man United still have to sign Neymar, Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez, Muller, Bale, Benzema, Robben and all the Real Madrid backroom staff! The window stays open!

Is it my imagination or have the press conferences lost all their weirdness this season?

I think Wenger's screwed up quite a few teams this week.

Have never had an Arsenal player in my team for more than a few weeks. Just like the real thing, FFL Arsenal can be infuriatingly unpredictable.

I'm keeping Santi Cazorla for now (even if his name sounds like a brand of cooking oil). He seems to get a regular run out.
Surprised Ozil is injured.
edit: Glad I left Coloccini on the bench now

Looks like a very unpredictable day with low-ish scores pretty much all round so far.

Thought for the day:

Watching the Swansea v Untidy game and have to say this is the quietest crowd of the weekend.

The quill has scratched across the page, ink has been splashed and here are the agreed scores:
IGM 379 v EIB 415
GW difference 36 points to EIB
Overall
IGM 1,798 v EIB 1,712
A lead for IGM of 86 points but 3 more weeks like this one and EIB will have the lead.
The Yellow Jersey will be worn by Jo as
Darkness AFC storm to the top of the league.
The
Big Shout Out award
goes to
Jupitercrash Blue for an excellent score of 60 points in a week when most of the usual heavy hitting players seem to take the week off.
And now it's the international break. A time for Fantasy Football managers to suffer withdrawal symptons from the constant tinkering whilst sweating that not too many of their team get injured whilst representing their countries.
And for those yet to wield your wild cards it's an opportunity to join Jose in wondering whether this is one season too far for Ivanovic, and is Hazard ever going to score a goal? Also is Bournemouth's Wilson this season's Charlie Austin and will just keep scoring or this season's Steven Naismith who will go off like a firework but quickly fizzles out? The dilemna of fantasy football management.....
