Friday I'm in Love cover

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Well, this made me smile today. Quite a lot actually.

Natalie Imbruglia's released a covers album. Always a bit of a mixed bag, covers albums, and this is no exception, with the Instant Crush being one of only two real standouts. The other is this little gem. she's done The Cure's Friday I'm in Love. As a hoedown! And it's loads of fun.

That must be. They have Geo blocking for other countries except a number of wanting ones.

Her cover version of Torn was co-written by Phil Thornalley who took on bass guitar duties for The Cure in 83 & 84

But is it better than Fat Bob and the Cureheads' version "Friday Up Your Bum"?
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

No that good as I'm-Gonna-Cry Bob would sing. It's a smooth pop/folk version. Not good, not bad. Just another angel on that song.
