We often receive requests from alumni for copies of matriculation and graduation photos. Gillman & Soame now have a new service, called ImageBank, which allows you to search for, and order, old photos. The St John's archive can be found here: www.gsimagebank.co.uk/sjc/?t=stjohnscollege2014. Please be aware that you need to log in (by providing your email address) before you can browse.
Oops my mistake! In my defence I don't think Hudderfield Poly did matriculation photos.markfiend wrote:IIRC you matriculate when you join a college, not when you graduate.
Also, contacting the college might not be any good - I'd imagine it's more likely to be a friends/family photo of the event than an official college record?

I don't think most do. Must be an Oxford/Cambridge thing, as the individual colleges tend to be smaller. (I learned all I know about Oxbridge from University Challenge, Douglas Adams and Inspector Morse.)abridged wrote:Oops my mistake!
