Check Interview section for postwave.gr :von: 's says he considers seriously on creating and release new material and looking the proper way to do so. If interview is correct then we are facing a critical turn for things to come :innocent: :notworthy:

That would be very nice, but I'm not holding my breath just yet.

I did wonder whether the three of them had been writing new material (in addition to the unheard Far Parade) and were "saving" it for a direct release ("direct" as in no record company middlemen), but I can be subject to these flights of fancy sometimes.

From http://www.rockoverdose.gr/news_details.php?id=41177:
RockOverdose: You have proved that you are a band that can survive and remain alive without new material. How you achieve that?

Andrew Eldritch: I’m not sure. Pink Floyd don’t have to do it, so we don’t have to do it. We record some ideas but we don’t get it to the extent of actually recording songs.

RockOverdose: Should we expect a new album in the near future?

Andrew Eldritch: Not at the moment, but we do think about it…not very hard though!
OK, maybe not then.

we have some different songs, some recorded some unreleased stuff that we haven’t played live before
Unreleased stuff that they haven't played before...?

Or is this just the interviewer misinterpreting what he said - and it actually means recorded stuff that hasn't been played live before (eg AFAIK 1959 and Jihad.)?

Probably misinterpretation or lack of commas in the transcription that should have read: "we have some different songs, some recorded, some unreleased, [and] stuff that we haven’t played live before [this particular tour]"

I read this thread about a new record and then went outside to put the bin in the right position for the bin men tomorrow and was covered by this massive dollop of pig poo as this sounder of swine flew over my head

If, on the bizarre chance there were ever a new Sisters studio LP, it should feature guest appearances by Lemmy and Chuck D.

I'm not entirely joking, either. They're part of the history, so why not?

Well, technically UTG wasn't even written by Eldritch, it was a Billie Hughes song.
