GW14: Deadline 14:00 Saturday 28November

So, after toying with
EIB over the past 4GWs (creating a false illusion of hope, and letting them win four on the trot),
IGM decided enough was enough, and crushed the shed-dwellers in an empathic style. Business as usual from here on in.
Classic League:
FC Bennweg-Zeis (Johnny Rev 7.0) retains the
Yellow Jersey after a an impressive
Hurrah! from Harry. I gambled on an Alice band that explored the relationship between the body and life as performance. Influenced of course by Wittgenstein and Francis Bacon, I felt new tensions were created from both explicit and implicit dialogues. And the boy done good.
H2H League:
Nobby Nobbs XI (Mort) take top spot as
Darkness AFC continue to struggle with their fall from grace. Rumours that hit-men, hissy-fits, CAS and Dame Shirley Bassey are involved, are still to be confirmed. Let it go
Jo.
Just back from German class, so I'll keep this short and sweet, before all that backwards grammar and "Huh? WTF?" starts to invade my quintessential, and somewhat, maliferous English prose, and I have a
Scanners moment.
Interestingly enough, a good friend, and former NOW reporter, managed to track down
EIB HQ today. Not as pretty as he tries to picture it, is it? Falsehoods and lies, I tell you!
Good luck all. Except the [s]container[/s] shed-dwellers.

It's MY crown. Mav made it just for me. I had to brave the darn yellow shirt for a few weeks after you lot, so I deserve it!

He'll be a brave man. I know you. I'd rather put my head in a shark's mouth. Much safer.

Great player but for the price in Fantasy land he's just too unreliable

Yep.
I think there needs to be some serious re-valuations.
Sick-Note Sturridge is 10.1 million for crying out loud.
But it was nice to see Palace butcher Newcastle

Sold Sanchez before he'd even got off the pitch.

I had him benched this week. Was beginning to curse when he started, but looks like I made the right play

So another game week draws to an end. In the real world it was a good week for Klopp's Reds as they take 3 points and move up to 6th whilst everyone else around them fails to win with the exception of City but their mood on Saturday was tempered by another injury to Sergio Aguero.
And what of Arsenal? Took a chance on Sanchez's sore hamstrings and it looks like it has backfired spectacularly. Especially with a must win (by 2 goals!) Champions League match coming up in Greece.
How long before the Wally With The Brolly gets fired by Newcastle? Their next game is at home against Klopp's away day masters. Let's hope the bar codes get a good hammering.
I have some sympathy with Remi Garde but did he not assess the strength of the Villa squad before taking the job? And having to deal with that p*ss head Jack Grealish? Nobody deserves that. BTW has there ever been such a big fuss about a player making himself available for England? Unless Uncle Roy starts picking 72 man squads little Jack isn't getting near it anytime soon.
Finally did everyone enjoy the scenes at Bournemouth on 95 minutes when Everton scored and the fans invaded the pitch, knowing that Bournemouth would score again in the final 30 seconds of injury time. Give them all banning orders, I say.
Onto more important matters, this week was incredibly close between IGM and EIB. EIB scored a very creditable 640 points but IGM pipped them by 3 points to score 643 points.
Overall its IGM 7,418 v EIB 7,247 giving IGM a lead of 171 points.
Nobby Nobbs XI seems determined to crash the IGM party as he moves to the top and takes the
. Now this is only going to make Johnny angry and nobody wants to see Johnny angry.
The
goes to Meteora Heartland with a very nice 84 points.
In the H2H it was EIB 18 v IGM 14 to make it EIB 235 v IGM 222.
Nobby Nobbs XI retains the
for a second week and with a 4 point lead to our Darkness AFC he will still be wearing the crown next week. However Mr Nobbs you're up against our hot player Meteora Heartland in the H2H so prepare to taste defeat

Seems the prospect of a mahoosive tour is still proving a mild distraction back at the contain.... shed.
I was a bit surprised Sanchez played. But now it looks like I may have the moola for a decent replacement
Good to see Klopp's gang turning in a decent shift. Just imagine what he could do with a fully operational Sturridge.
Aguero's knock doesn't look too bad & I fully understand why he was hoiked off. They do have a super tough game against....Hull tonight.
& doesn't Penguingreenie look more like Emperor Palpatine each week?.
Anyhoo, thanks again for having us & well done everyone
Best get back to the shed where everyone's still F5-ing the eventim page
