Terri Nunn - Moment Of Truth album 'Andrew Flashman'?

Was just listening (well half-listening tbh) to Terri Nunn solo album 'Moment Of Truth' (1992) for first time and thought to self - hmmm, there are definite 1992 Sisters flourishes in first couple of tracks. Album recorded over period of 5 years at Paisley Park studios with collaborators such as Karl Hyde (Underworld) and members of Prince's band amongst others...

Then peruse CD booklet credits to not only spot a thanks to Andrew Eldritch (makes sense timewise), but also notice that piano, organ & keys are credited to a certain Andrew Flashman.

Bit of digging reveals that he also played on a 1992 album by Vincent Rocco (nope, no idea), but seems to be no other info on a Mr Andrew Flashman anywhere online.

Might be barking up entirely the wrong tree here, but could it possibly be Von himself??

OK - just got to track 10 'Fly By Night'. Now almost zero doubt that it is indeed him playing on this Terri Nunn album. Truly bizarre - imagine Berlin meets Sisters keyboards meets Fine Young Cannibals (David Z production & mixing duties) with little bits of Underworld thrown in for good measure (via Karl Hyde on harmonica I think)

Didn't Von say the whole piano part on 1959 was sequenced cos he can't actually play?

An aside perhaps but years ago on Dominion I remember somebody talking about Andrew doing some stuff with Rick Smith of Underworld. This was mid-nineties at the latest. Can't remember who but I'm sure it was one of the Glasperlenspiel folks so always assumed it to be true...

Good point Stufarq, but the bits that sound very Sisters-esque on the Terri Nunn album are more little synth stabs & flourishes - actually sound more like snatches of the Sisterhood album, rather than anybody sitting down and properly playing a piano. Sounds more like somebody added a few bits here and there as they went along. Try to grab a listen to the album and see what you think

To be fair, it's not entirely outside the realms of possibility, although I think that Karate Kid soundtrack credit makes it pretty unlikely.
