Did you see HIM perform at Summer Horizon 1998?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hi,

I am wondering if any attendees of Summer Horizon '98 in Gelsenkirchen managed to witness HIM perform? With the event date two days away from their debut album being released in Germany via Supersonic, this one in particular was one of two promotional shows done in order to test the live market prior to their first headlining tour in December of the same year.

A known setlist from this date would be a godsend considering a show in Helsinki that took place a week prior has some known possible material, but I doubt certain songs were brought over for this show. Of course "Wicked Game" is most likely a dead ringer as is "Your Sweet Six Six Six". I thought maybe someone out there may have a bit more information. If the event ticket lineup is to be trusted as seen on Sisters Wiki, HIM had a pretty good spot on the bill performing prior to Atrocity.

Thank you everybody for your time.
