Just to let everyone know that thanks to the wonderful contributions of @taylor, @spiggymr7 and others, to celebrate the band's thirty fifth anniversary as a "live" entity today, there's a special post over on my TSOM blog attempting to recreate arguably the greatest TSOM gig of all time in the unlikely surroundings of Peterborough Technical College in April 1983.

There's a press advert, the poster, a link to an audio sample, a link to the gig footage on YT, a link to (unseen by many) post gig footage, eye witness accounts, a link to audio from the support band, a photo, [s]plus the usual ill-informed hyperbole masquerading as fact [/s]

If you've always wished that you were around to see the band in those days, don't be afraid ...just walk on in.

Sad enough, I still can't see it all - thanks to GEMA ...

Would anybody please upload this elsewhere? Please.

Apart from that, I've updated the the according page ... ... Still not sure about Burn in the setlist ... :? ...

Yeah I thought it odd that the blog doesn't mention the song when it mentions all the other songs.

Sorry for the confusion, meant to say that most videos start with either Heartland or Burn (which preceded it).
I assume there is also a "full" version somewhere. Some collectors had a nasty habit of cutting a track off to keep their own private treasures when trading. Also meant Berlin not Amsterdam when talking about other video bootlegs.
Will correct later - thanks for pointing this out.

Yes, I too was wondering if the first 3 songs were missing because the video guy was busy in the bar, or because of trading silliness.

Can I ask if you've investigated Glasgow Nightmoves? The video has audio dropouts between most songs - that makes me think someone's redubbed the audio from a seperate audience tape.

As it happens I have indeed started researching Night Moves for a post later in the year, but am also intrigued by the audio drop-outs which occur only between certain songs. Perhaps there should be one after Heartland too, to drown out the guy shouting "Ye're rubbish"! Perhaps someone else here has more info ...
