Output?
Good point.
There was some once, though we were all young then and many oceans have gone under the multitude of bridges. I can vaguely remember the lead u to Vision Thing. Will we get another album before the ice caps melt and that water flows under the briges?
No, just like all the other Linux dorks, Von's too busy fiddling with his kernel to even update his website, much less make new music or have any kind of social life.
E.g. he can't get the drivers for any of his preamps to work, for some reason they're only outputting 16/44 and of course he won't stand for that, when the specs clearly say 24/96 and "Linux support".
Also, there has been a weird issue with packet compression not working to full spec on his router, but that should be easy enough to fix. There are some great experimental utilities available for that, just compile and man. Always friendly and useful in depth discussion over on linuxforums.org.uk, who needs commercial OSs?!
This has been going on since the release of (We Are The Same) Suzanne (which was compressed using a private beta of SoX).
Every 10 years or so the SoM website gets so retro it looks almost modern, and just when the kernel and the OS installation has been made to work perfectly, with surgical precision, it's time to upgrade. Rinse and repeat.
It's Linus Torvald's fault that we will never, ever have a new Sisters album.

Well, there have been stranger conspiracy theories over the years. At least, I think there have.
I recommend you test your theory by going to the next Sisters gig and shouting "do-release-upgrade" at Eldritch from the front row.
If he doesn't immediately release a new album, try "sudo do-release-upgrade".

So Von has just got way too distracted to do anything like create a set of demos to take to record parasite orgs. I could see that if he is of a certain temperament that you have to make it work regardless of everything going on at the time, I have that issue. Never got in to Linux though, just can't garner the interest for messing around with the programming stuff.

Isn't Linux a friend of Charlie Brown? Ahem. Sorry.
To be fair years can pass (at least for me) trying to figure html and css so maybe there is something in it!

Ahem. Your disdain for Linux dorks is undermined by the sheer amount of technical details in your post, you Linux dork.

That's a great idea!
The chance that it would work is at least as good as trying the old WDC trick.

I don't really understand this thread because I don't understand computer stuff
But what your saying is the reason there hasn't been Sisters Product is due to the "Lynux Effect"

Hmm... BSD but not Mac OS X, now that really explains everything. He's lost it.

With Far Parade, only the source was released. Compile your own song.

anyway all the sisters actual output was in days of practical computer infancy. tr606, DR-550 and even DMX no need 'pooter. brandless spray-paint pa anacondagittars and blown-up bass cabs no need windows, mac or f**king zx spectrum. not even need batteries (though DR-550 glitchs off of mains supply unless batteries installed...strangely dead ones work just as well.)
i blame the turtles.
