new kid on the block

Hi all,

Here is a small story for those who might be interested in the mystic workings of life..

I was a huge sisters fan when I was 16 (that a while ago now, I'm 40) ... I had the t-shirts, did the concerts, had the sistershead with the star 1 meter big on my wall in my room...
and then I got older and life took me on a stroll. kept loving the sisters but somehow I stopped listening to them.
5 years ago I saw a post on facebook, a clip of the temple of love, and for the sake of good old times I couldn't help but replying. Appearently some other people had the same idea, and before I knew it, I was talking to my ex-girlfriend, the one I was dating when I was 16.
Cutting a long story short...we have been married for three years now, have a 3 year old boy, and 3 other children from our previous lifes, and are happier then we have ever been. We picked up our sisters albums and started playing them on regular bases again. We even took our 12year old son to 2 sisters concerts (suikerrock 2015 and AB 2016). front row both times. Best time of his life he says.

Life is great. thanks sisters, for your contribution to my happy story.

so here I am.... better late then never. look forward to writing and reading some in here.

regards
Tim 8)

Hi there, Tim ... :D ... hihi, that's a nice story ... :D ...
Suikerrock and AB, yes ... most of the time, I prefer The Sisters' club gigs
and this year was no exception (so far).

BTW, our standard question to all new members:

YCBTO - yes or no? ... :) ...

Never too young or old.

@ being645: if you ask me:"You could be the one" in a context of love and relation, then I would have to direct you to the beginning of this post because for some reason you missed the obvious part of me stating how much I love my wife and how happy I am....
8)

if however you ask this in a different context, I'm open for suggestions, it's never wrong to have a closer look at opportunities

a third possibility is that i'm just an old new kid on the block who doesn't have a clue what you are talking about...and for the sake of being a little bit positive in an allround negative world I would have to say "YES" even if this means I don't have a clue what I am saying yes to

..and in that case: please, enlighten me :notworthy:

They refer to this 'thing of beauty/monstrosity' (delete as appropriate).

... :D ... yes, lionhawk ... I had, indeed, wondered what you would answer when I posted this question ...

Here's a forum thread about YCBTO in the Lyric Section that might offer some further context for interpretation ...

Btw, YES is surely the right answer ... ;D ... while NO had not been wrong either ... ;D ...
