In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Thinking this could be a place for random thoughts, ponderings, wonderings, whether or not Girls-related.

So I'm reading an article about SSV Dortmund and how cross they are that RB Leipzig's sponsorship by Red Bull goes against the spirit of the Bundelsiga rules.

The thought occurred to me, and this could be a stretch, but...
FC Sankt Pauli, :von:'s football team of choice, has a fierce rivalry with Hamburger SV (SV=SportVerein, or sports club, in German). Given the rivalry, do you think that SSV (as in Screw Shareholder Value) could be a veiled reference to Screw (Hamburger) SV, The Diminutive Dark One getting in a dig at his team's cross-town rivals?

@Alex66 ... that book you mentioned is it subtitled "or do I sincerely want to be right" by Antony Flew? It's on my shelf here and has triggered waves of nausea in the past.
