Just thought I'd pop a note up here to let you all know that Chris has got a solo album coming out! There's a video for it on his new Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/chriscatalystmusic
On top of that, I helped him knock together a website for it, where he's going to be writing an ongoing blog of his travels and various doings in his many bands. There's an entry up there already, written from Peru on the recent Sisters tour:

Enjoy!

Ill be purchasing/pledging for this when it comes up, alas have to give the Leeds show a miss due to proximity of babies due date.

Thanks so much for posting this, I wasn't very aware of Chris's activities outside TSOM

We’re constantly, albeit slowly, working on all sorts of things to update the set, sounds and songs.
Well that's an understatement.

I have a mental image of Von driving a "steamroller flattening everything in it's path"

Not before November I hope! Hoping to see the (intact) suit then and
in it, of course.
(Bet Chris looks good in a suit too, not to mention Ben...

i don't think that the personal satisfaction and artistic expression one gains from releasing a solo album could be described as "nothing".
Congrats to "Robo-breezers" on the website and forthcoming album.

I was referring to nothing as in a monetary sense. But that was pretty obvious, I think.

WOW!
is that a Liquido revival?
thats even worse than the recent m*****n albums.
clap clap
dont forget to lock this thread down as it happens when someone expresses their disapproval in a way that is not modest enough for you.
(tho hatred towards former tsom members doesnt seem to bother anyone)

The thread (I assume) you're referring to was shut down solely because of the personal remarks directed at other members of MyHeartland that had no place in a discussion thread about a former member of the band.
It had nothing to do whatsoever with the differing opinions on the subject.
If you personally don't approve of what Chris is doing, then that's your call.
I'm sure there are others that do take an interest though.

clap clap.
thx for puting my remark out of its context, as you did before and you surely gonna do again.
context = ruined concert by a s**t sound and appaling arrangements. 40e thrown in a bin.
but hey, yea, why not kick someone when hes down, right, why not take an obvious exaggeration and label the one who uttered it as a potential murderer, like you did before.
no wonder this place has become a special place for blind adoration only. the others can kindly remain mute.

Wait there is a forum for blind adoration of the sisters? I certainly haven't come across it here.
Good for Chris, perusing creative endeavors that make him happy.

Exactly. One thing that always shone out from EM releases is that of a band having fun & I appreciate Chris is going in different directions with all his various projects & collaborations.
That man can write some pretty good hooks.
