GW15 - Deadline Saturday 10th December 11.30 am

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Right, here we go. Post Europe snowflaking may affect the performance of your team, which as always may go up or down.
This week isn't full of top of the table clashes (MU v Spurs is... close) so it'll be good to see some good old fashioned proper stuff. Possibly.
Costa is showing 75% chance of injuring someone or himself. Origi and Oxlade-Chamberlain are the Scout's tips for the moment. Kane is back on form though, which will please our cat loving contingent :D

I'm predicting points flooding in from all directions this week - don't blame me if they don't!

I'm staying in the BatCave back offices this week, in an effort to keep my lurgy to myself. Doppel and Snorkel will attend to your every need, if they can bothered. Try asking for stuff just after meals...

I hear Bob Bradley's putting traffic cones in defence this weekend.
Can't see them in the player lists though. I think they would be a great transfer opportunity. :innocent:
Cheers.

48 points so far with a (unfortunately necessary) -8 to be applied (so the FPL site had LIED to me Jo.... ) Zaha turned out to be a valuable additon with 16 points. i called the wrong backline with daniels' 10 points squandering on the bench but i will not be the only manager to wish jamie vardy was still in his team. so-so, so far...

I wonder if JoMo's instructions to Foullaini today were along the lines of, "Don't go anywhere near the penalty area!"

Our football community here should be aware that there is a new Hillsborough documentary on ITV at 10.40pm on Monday 12th Dec, I think STV show it a wee bit later.

Defo one to miss last orders for.

So a good week overall for me, should be really, really pleased but leaving 26 points sat on the bench does grate a little. Still onwards and up as we roll ever closer to the Chrissy footie bonanza.

Also thouroughly enjoyed The Mighty Rams thrash the Reds yesterday. :D

The -points shouldn't get lopped off the total score until the following game week

Evening everyone. This is one of those weeks where IGM needs to hold their heads and groan... we're used to winning by big margins, not getting stuffed! Have a dekko at the tables:
Image

This is all the fault of the snowflakes, of course. Not many of our lovelies did the biz (for our, read my) and how many of you have Vardy? That was a quite delightful result - not that I have anything against Man City, but I do enjoy that sort of thing ;D

The yellow jersey remains firmly on Nikolas' shoulders. Will it ever come off? I hope it gets a Christmas wash..
Image
The Big Shout Out goes to Atletico Denbigh with a whopping 71 points. He's the one with Vardy!
Image
Bromance is still blossoming between Damage Dunfermline and Toluca Lake FC under that Golden Crown. Bless. Another one each again, so you don't stretch the metal.

The Batcave will welcome you all back over Christmas, so please place your buffet order. Pista is bringing the beer, Lee is bringing the pick me ups, and I'm being Delia.
Just because I know you want me to.

Level on points :D
Mwahahahaha ;)
Well played everyone & thanks once again for hosting the week :notworthy:

Just kicked off GW16 & getting the beers cooled. There might be sherry too. Someone brought it weeks ago & no-one's opened it yet . :)
Cheers.

so the H2H is the one thats wrong then? there has to be an error in one of them as one says 57pts and the other says 49. also, i just checked and my ooponent in H2H shows the same GW points as he does in the classic... :? :?

EDIT: on further scrutiny i realise whats happened: the H2H (sensibly) shows the adjusted score so as to determine the winner between the drawn teams that week. the classic shows the unadjusted score, meaning effectively that that table is irrelevant as regards the current state of affairs. :?

Phew. Just spent the last 20 minutes crawling through all the lookups we made to make sure we didn't lose anyone's points.
The MkII classic league's a doddle to calculate. The MkII H2H is a bit of a nailbiter, but we think we have it sussed.
But if there is a muff up somewhere, it's good to know. A pencil & a quill can fix it :)
Cheers.

Ooo what did I win a crown for??? According to the FPL site I was extraordinarily ordinary this week, again, 40 odd measly points and nowhere in the leagues. Thanks like, but it's a knocking bet someone deserves / earned it more than me!
