Sung to the
tune of?
(with apologies to Mountain Goats, aka the Gribe of Goffs)
Andrew Eldritch's moving back to Lee-ee-eeds
I saw him trying to score some spee-ee-eed
And in my yard his cats have pee-ee-eed
Again, and again, and again, and again.

Who needs the sea when you've got the swimming pools in Bramley and Pudsey, plus he'll qualify for his 'twirly' pensioner pass soon.

Yes. The Leeds Liverpool lido has an excellent fish-monger, with daily specials on brown trout.

You don't think we 'ad luxury of privy, do you? Canal ran past bottom of the garden, just past father's pigeon loft. If it had been raining, or it was a slippy - well, you went swimming.

Ahh, HMHB, four lads that shook the Wirral.
Proof that you can take the man out of Birkenhead, but you can't tuna fish.

Actually there are some nice places to live in Yorkshire. On a whole the ppl are more friendly and that's from a Southerner! So perhaps Von made the right choice all those yrs ago to make his home in Leeds?!
