Getty f**ked the entire industry, and it continues to do so.
Formerly owned by the oil-rich Getty family (who couldn't find a new owner for Getty Images for frigging ages,) they totally farked everyone when they bought out (and shut down) Bill Gates' Corbis Images.
Nothing less than a truly mortal blow, if you ask me... left on m*****n and revenge. As it should be.
and as for Adam...well...erm
