Get yer boots on! Steve has handily summarised last GW's triumphs and disasters, so we can all move on with only the memories to sustain us. The Batcave has had the heating on, so watch out for odd small mammals. Also to watch out for - my flapjack, made to a new recipe. It takes 2 mins to make so I'll have that on constant cook mode.

This week kicks off with a tasty game indeed - Rashford might be a doubt but that's it. Spurs rested a few on Wednesday night and they're not at Wembley, so Kane might slot in a hat trick if he feels like it. Arse will be buoyed by only just beating Norwich, Palace - well, i dunno, who knows - can't be any worse than the cup exit? Liverpool will be looking at thumping Hudds, or Klopp's in trouble and may be following Koeman and Shakespeare - Bilic has salvaged a few games' grace. Watford are having a ball and Stoke aren't, so it's either momentum or fight back there. City nearly came a cropper and had to win on penalties v Wolves but on current PL form they shouldn't worry much. Half the country has 3 City players in their teams so they better had perform. What is going to be interesting is LEIEVE - one brand new manager v one temp one. Will the Blues get the Blues? Will Mooy get another £5 if he scores again? Does anyone much care about Monday's game? Can a grown up win this league? Tune in for the next installment...
Top transfers in this week are all MCI or WAT, with MCI and MU winning the top transfers out. Richarlison, Diouf, Ozil and Mahrez are all ones to watch, apparently, as is... Scott Dann. The Palace defender.

This weekend, you will mostly be wondering/perplexed/frustrated/happy about:

Saturday 28 October
Man Utd 12:30 Spurs
Arsenal 15:00 Swansea
Crystal Palace 15:00 West Ham
Liverpool 15:00 Huddersfield
Watford 15:00 Stoke
West Brom 15:00 Man City
Bournemouth 17:30 Chelsea

Sunday 29 October
Brighton 13:30 Southampton
Leicester 16:00 Everton

Monday 30 October
Burnley 20:00 Newcastle

Enjoy! If you can!

Ah the BBC live feeds, bless 'em they really are moronic beyond belief, and not even shy or coy about it. Fortunately for me the match was very entertaining, but that was solely due to circumstances, watching it in a bar in Bournemouth with family. The bar rapidly filled with Chelsea fans on their way to their match so a vociferous bantery singing duel ensued. Top fun and really nice that the banter remained just that, they were a decent bunch. Anyone ever travelling to Bournemouth to watch their team play can do a lot worse than head to Mello Mello bar in Boscombe en route.

It did of course also gloss over the fact that yep, Utd v Spurs was turgid garbage, two also-rans also-running. city would need to lose about 3/4s of their squad to injury before any other teams can even dream about the title this season. It's a shame they take the p*ss so much though, their incumbents in my squad mustered a measly 5 points between 'em this GW. Gits. Apologies to the IGM for my worst week yet. It always seems to get tricky when the regular, tried n tested point-scorers hit their first plateau, means you need to have better luck and pay much more attention to the fortunes and form of other players from other teams. That bit always throws me.

Happy Hallowe’en, my little dark angels. The Batcave carried on as normal, although the door policy became a bit stricter. Regulars only, this week. My contribution to scraing people witless was to wear blue, which affected some people’s minds immediately and is sitting like a parasitic worm in others’, waiting. The biscuits were very nice, as always. To business:
Were Palace unlucky not to win? Certainly Zaha did Hodgson a favour as equalised late on, after a few shots. 2-2 against the Hammers after being 2-0 down is not so bad – just all the other results need to work too. Ayew has been looking a bit useful lately.
I’m not sure that the WBAMCI result was in doubt, but that it was 2-3 says a lot for the Baggies’ sterling effort – Sadly it was Sterling that did for them. The Sané/Fernandinho partnership was on fire, though De Bruyne’s chances were everywhere except in the net – he should have scored about 73759395 points by all accounts. But didn’t. Neither did Aguero as he didn’t appear at all. He did manage to become the club’s record scorer last night after a Champions’ League goal – don’t get point for those though! Jesus is having a mare, and Otamendi needs to see me after school for that display.
BRISOU – not much to say except that Gross bloke is a bit handy. Davis’ goal was my only ray of hope this GW.
LEIEVE – Everton going down is more likely than ever. It was Mahrez and Vardy wot dunnit. Sigurdsson was on the bench for Everton, surprisingly.
BURNEW – meh.
MUNTOT – also meh. This should have been at least a draw! No Kane didn’t help Spurs, and Untidy’s defence stayed firm. De Gea gained a lot of points, and was lauded mid week in Europe too. So were Spurs, who won decisively against Real Madrid, whilst coolly subbing Kane in the process.
ARSSWA – a win, but that should be a given really. Ozil created, Lacazette didn’t, Kolasinac scored. Fabianski is one to watch with his save rate, especially with their upcoming fixture list.
BOUCHE – well, a one goal win here just ain’t good enough for Chelsea. Hazard is back, but his club aren’t right, and the stuffing in Europe won’t help the mood. Playing Untidy in GW11 won’t either.
WATSTO – meh.
LIVHUD - much better from Klopp’s men, and they will be buoyed by that and the great European result too. Sturridge performing, Firmino back doing what he should be doing, and the first mention for Wijnaldum that I can recall for a while. But oh, Salah, what a penalty miss… thereby stuffing anyone who had him as captain.

The tables! Planet Dave and I are grovelling for our abject performances. Blame the RL managers. EIB won the GW, but BB&S are top of the table
