GW10 - Deadline Saturday 28th Oct 11.30 am
Posted: 26 Oct 2017, 20:05
Get yer boots on! Steve has handily summarised last GW's triumphs and disasters, so we can all move on with only the memories to sustain us. The Batcave has had the heating on, so watch out for odd small mammals. Also to watch out for - my flapjack, made to a new recipe. It takes 2 mins to make so I'll have that on constant cook mode.
This week kicks off with a tasty game indeed - Rashford might be a doubt but that's it. Spurs rested a few on Wednesday night and they're not at Wembley, so Kane might slot in a hat trick if he feels like it. Arse will be buoyed by only just beating Norwich, Palace - well, i dunno, who knows - can't be any worse than the cup exit? Liverpool will be looking at thumping Hudds, or Klopp's in trouble and may be following Koeman and Shakespeare - Bilic has salvaged a few games' grace. Watford are having a ball and Stoke aren't, so it's either momentum or fight back there. City nearly came a cropper and had to win on penalties v Wolves but on current PL form they shouldn't worry much. Half the country has 3 City players in their teams so they better had perform. What is going to be interesting is LEIEVE - one brand new manager v one temp one. Will the Blues get the Blues? Will Mooy get another £5 if he scores again? Does anyone much care about Monday's game? Can a grown up win this league? Tune in for the next installment...
Top transfers in this week are all MCI or WAT, with MCI and MU winning the top transfers out. Richarlison, Diouf, Ozil and Mahrez are all ones to watch, apparently, as is... Scott Dann. The Palace defender.
This weekend, you will mostly be wondering/perplexed/frustrated/happy about:
