GW30 - Deadline 11.30 Saturday 10th March

Evening! GW30, huh? Doesn't time fly when we're all having so much fun? Not that some teams have been, lately - FPL or RL! Steve has wrapped up GW29 perfectly, so we're moving out of a soggy thawing shed to somewhat drier climes down in the Cave. Bring your coat, though. Hasn't warmed up much yet.
To business! The world famous predictions are:

Saturday 10 March
Man Utd 12:30 Liverpool Klopp wins. Steamroller Liverpool reign.
Everton 15:00 Brighton Everton might do a blip win here. Possibly.
Huddersfield 15:00 Swansea Swansea just snatch it from the jaws of excitement.
Newcastle 15:00 Southampton The thriller of the day - loads o f goals and spills.
West Brom 15:00 Leicester The Baggies sink without trace. As they are the nemesis of my ancestral team Wolves, I have to say that. True, though.
West Ham 15:00 Burnley Burnt Spam.
Chelsea 17:30 Crystal Palace Surely, surely Palace can do it this time?

Sunday 11 March
Arsenal 13:30 Watford Predicting anything involving the Arse is futile. Except that we will still be talking about Wenger this tiem next week.
Bournemouth 16:00 Spurs Obviously Spurs will win, and all players will be back on form. Or else.

Monday 12 March
Stoke 20:00 Man City The Blues will avoid all sorts of potholes to win. Pep will wear yellow from top to bottom, and will mistaken for the spare goalie.

And if that doesn't happen, no one will be very surprised

To battle, chums! Shinpads on, tie your hair back and take your earrings out.

Love and Rockets xx

Whilst not necessarily expecting this to be the case, I do realise that making Salah captain for the week could be construed as hedging one's bets somewhat. So if Lingard scores a hattrick and we trounce the bin-dippers but the IGM lose the week you can blame me.

Well there's no way you deserved to get mugged by us last Monday, I guess at least now you know how Bayern Munich felt, kinda. Weird, that seems like centuries ago (mugging Bayern Munich) but as per I date things by 'what were The Sisters up to then?' - the Planet Edge mega US tour which doesn't seem that long ago at all. I also think there might be an underlying element of dementia lurking just behind posts like this. WTF? Where was I? Oh yeah...

Good luck IGM, middlng luck (at a pinch) to your mob Steve, and no luck whatsoever to the others, but only cos they're winning :)

We really shouldn't have thrown that lead away & for that Matic goal you could have put 6 keepers in that goal & none of them would have stopped it.

or one de Gea ;D

Anyway I'm getting nervous now, trust me there'll be zero pleasure derived from Salah bagging s**t of points for the IGM, indeed I hope the entire scouse team trip up and break their ankles in the first minute and we win 3-0 by default. Here we go....

Rather unfortunate choice of words on T' Grauniad's live text
GOAL! Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool (Rashford 14)
What a goal this is! De Gea takes the goal kick. Lukaku flicks on down the left. Rashford gets ahead of a dozing Alexander-Arnold, and enters the box. He drops a shoulder to the right, diddling the young full back. And then curls a powerful shot into the top right! Magnificent! Karius had no chance!

Barnes! :D

Oddly, he is eligible to play for Austria on account of his granny being Austrian.

so what the f**k has happened to christina (aguero)? he wasnt injured when i checked my scores earlier today! now he's 25% chance of playing with a knee injury! f**king snowflake! here's a question: i used my triple captiain thingy this week. if he doesnt play will my vice captain get tripled ? cuz thats Mahrez who's scored 11 which wouldnt be too bad.

Yep. If your captain doesn't play the VC gets the triple chip

Excellent.
Now listen up, kids. Steve has handily pointed out that next GW, due to FA cup, there are only FOUR GAMES on.
BOUWBA
STOEVE
HUDCRY
LIVWAT

So, injuries have a bit of time for recovery for FPL.
Think very carefully about how you're all going to manage this one.

This was a PSA. As you were.

Just read that.
Did as a good a job as he did when he played for Liverpool & they got shot of him after a dozen games.
