GW39 - Deadline Sunday 13th May 14.00
Posted: 11 May 2018, 19:30
Evening! If you've not read the noticeboard in the Shed re last GW, please pop over!
It is with great regret that I have to announce the last GW of the season. The last shout for glory is upon us. The last transfer, the last bonus point, the last hurrah. Monday will be a sadder and emptier day than usual. But until then, there are games to play, refs to curse (and players), each other to banter with. Carpe Diem and Noctem! Here are the final fixtures and predictions:
ALL KOs AT 3 PM
Burnley v Bournemouth Hmmm. Could turn out to be very entertaining. Both teams can let go a bit.
Crystal Palace v West Brom Houdini Palace (Murray Mints on way to RH from one in our midst) and Darren Moore's men. For his sake, the Baggies should pull out all the stops. He's the one everyone was rooting for.
Huddersfield v Arsenal Farewell Arsene. Party atmosphere all round, whatever happens.
Liverpool v Brighton DON'T INJURE SALAH!
Man Utd v Watford Shut up, JoMo. Watford, make sure he actually has something to moan about.
Newcastle v Chelsea Let's hope this won't be a damp squib. Looking for a good even fight to the last whistle.
Southampton v Man City I can't see City holding back, but the Saints need to salvage a bit of pride from somewhere
Spurs v Leicester Spurs will be at ease now, so this could be a thumping. Leicester aren't anywhere near form.
Swansea v Stoke The emotional amongst us should avoid this one.
West Ham v Everton Rooney has apparently played his last Everton game with a 'slight injury'. I suspect Big Sam has wanted to break his nose for allegedly saying 'it's him or me'. Not much of a contest... Hammers will go for it.
We know Toure is going, but pay special attention to the rest of the squads. Some of those players will be in different PL shirts before long, and some of them won't be there at all. Last chance to view!
You weren't doing anything else on Sunday, were you?
