hello, a year ago I started posting here picking at the brains of a few people on the gear that the sisters of mercy used and I received a lot of positive help.
So, I wanted to come back and share what the results were. We just played a big show, and it was also our best show.
Please give it a listen, its only a 20 second clip and let me know if you sisters fans approve. Thanks

As I said on FB, good effort. But were you aware of this well-known and long-standing German tribute band?

Thank you Again, I was aware of them after I already made a bunch of digital media for my tribute... I really should have done a Google Search first but I didn't. They do good stuff and I have said hello to them. Them and Body Electric are the only tribute bands out there I think that are exceptionally good. A few tributes pop up here and there but they don't seem to stay active for very long, and I'm in it for the long run because I've played in a lot of other bands and after promoting and rehearsing different instruments after 2 gigs they would break up. As long as I have my tracks I can always go out there and rock a show and I got tired of the other bands I was in never booking shows
If I had to change the name it'd be the tribute of Mercy, or swampland... Cause Houston is a swamp

We've been lurking around for the past 10 years now in San Francisco. We have not uploaded anything in years but still play shows.

Definitely some good stuff, wasn't aware of your tribute. I *think* there's another one in SF but it also does originals, and there's another one in the US but.. once again, not very active.
Ya'll really nailed Body Electric

Hey thanks! Checkout out your stuff too. Very Nice! I picked up that same 12 string recently. Works perfect for me as my stage name is Wayne FUSSEY.
We're the only ones out here. Not sure who else if anyone in the US. I was just over in Whitby last weekend for Eden House and Nephs. Great weekend

There's a weird gender one up in new york somewhere that switches things up - its not a serious project but its definitely interesting. THE MISTERS OF CIRCE, actually and it appears they are from UK.
There's not any real competition here in the states, and demand seems to not be nearly as strong but nevertheless, love the sisters and want to really do this project. If I end up in California we'll definitely need to set up a sisters night somewhere and see how much of the discography we have covered
