‪Just heard some sad news about an old friend I’ve not seen in a few years. 😞‬

‪RIP Owen, also known as Toadie. ‬

‪Dedicated Chameleons fan, fellow Wishviller, unfathomably big fan of ver’ Mish, and genuine nice guy.‬ He even made it onto Heartland at one point, making a grand total of (I think) 3 posts.

‪Farewell chief. T’was a pleasure sharing a mosh pit with you. 😢‬

He was also friends with Debaser, having shared many a Chameleons tour with her and the rest of the travelling Chams fans back in the 2000s.

RIP Quiffy's mate Toadie

Always sad to hear that friends pass away ... ... my father lost one of his oldest friends, too, last week ... ...

RIP to Toadie and whatever comfort there might be for his family and friends ... even if he is gone, the good memories at least remain ...

It brought me up short when I heard on Monday I nearly posted it on here but then thought 'who would know?'

Abiding memory is in Club Umbongo - or what ever it was called in Middlesborough somewhere - he was a proper 4ft 5" menace!
