Greetings and welcome to the GW. The last one is still lingering around The Shed. I am currently sicker than a parrot, so keeping this short. This GW is the calm before the storm, so spend this one sorting out and paying attention to form!

Saturday 09 March

Crystal Palace 12:30 Brighton Sky Sports Batshuayi FTW!
Cardiff 15:00 West Ham Boriiiiing
Huddersfield 15:00 Bournemouth 2-3
Leicester 15:00 Fulham Strange fixture. Two new managers.
Newcastle 15:00 Everton A draw, but epic.
Southampton 15:00 Spurs Spurs will edge it after a battle
Man City 17:30 Watford BT Sport City continuing to forge ahead

Sunday 10 March

Liverpool 12:00 Burnley Sky Sports Liverpool back on form
Chelsea 14:05 Wolves Sky Sports Wolves to stop the renaissance
Arsenal 16:30 Man Utd Sky Sports Hmm. Dunno. Could go either way.

Right. Check your injuries and off you go!

Having just read your summary Steve, I presume you were suitably gutted when Marquinhos did his 'changing goalies' act in the 90th minute? God bless him for that :notworthy:

More surprising than stuffing PSG was finding out that IGM are on a roll, nice going folks. I'll try to join in more this week although I've just signed Aguero so the scousers can thank me when he either has a stinker or suffers some season-ending mishap. Hopefully neither, he needs to score 10, but well that is how it seems to roll with my transfers.

It was actually a really good match to watch & I was happy to see PSG Spurs it up.
Slightly reminiscent of when Barca turned them over in 2017.

I didn't see the game, but from that graphic it looks more like they were Palace'd rather than themselves Spursing it up ;)

Well I hope you win 8-0 this w/e, Van Aanholt scoring them all.

Just been chatting with God on hangouts.
He's in hospital watching the Arsenal game & the nurses have just been in to ask him to watch his language

Ok. The GW wasn't a total disaster but not very high scoring in FPL, either. Pogba, Salah and Aguero barely registering by their standards, but Mane, Vardy and Firmino playing blinders. Sterling wins all the prizes!
Due to a snot and child filled week I can't think of anything very witty, not even Tony Slattery, apologies!
Also apologies to Schalke. They were a bit greedy, weren't they? So all English teams through to the last 8, which is nice. in the other Champions(hip), Norwich are top after last night's win and Farke signs a new contract, hurrah! Check out Buendia's first goal, it's a honey. However, West Brom in 4th suddenly sack the man who's done miracles. Hmm. Paul Scholes has left Oldham after 31 days a very angry man after he was apparently sold a duff. As for Swansea - well, you have to sympathise.

So, the tables. It's all as you were in the Classic:

The Yellow Jersey moves to Alisson's Big Gloves this week

The Big Shout out goes to Metamorphosis with 64 solid points

Over in the H2H, It's much the same story as far as placings go, but The Clas Wednesday now holds the Crown

Now then, there are very exciting times ahead in the next two GWs. PAY ATTENTION it's going to be a nightmare.
