Memories... I'd forgotten about Terry's cafe, our usual stop off place when on our way back up the hill to Springfield Mount after a bop in the Phono. A delicious dive of a place, but great for a butty, coffee and a smoke  at 3am

Good spot. I get The Guardian most days, but not yesterday, so I'd have missed this.

Non-music, but Leeds related, the recent BBC series on the Yorkshire Ripper was some of the best TV I watched in yonks. It's up on the iPlayer for the best part of a year: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/ ... rime-story.

We were probably in there ate the same time. I mentioned it in one of my first blog posts (when it was just about life in Leeds in the early/mid-80s) http://sistersfan.blogspot.com/2012/01/pubs.html.

There's a great article about it here from a few years later : https://www.winealchemy.co.uk/terrys-all-time/. Happy days!
