Yes a demo tape. Perhaps made from the acetate.

Wasn't it decided 'they shall not pass' had the best version?

^ "They shall not pass" offers us the best possible mastering as the CD pressing from 1988 trumps SGWBM.

On the other hand the 1985 LP affords us the opportunity to get an HD rip from vinyl that beats the CNT 7"

If, as Dave points out, Peel played an acetate with a unique version then it's possible that it is on the record that the discogs link above points to.

Further, the 'Kenny Giles' CD includes a variant of Adrenochrome. If the acetate has a unique variant of BE then the chances for the flipside being that Adrenochrome version may be pretty good.

But I don't have a box in the backroom with SISTERS acetates so I can't check this myself.
