Just thought as we have an album out, are about to start touring with two new members and will be premiering material for the upcoming second album that i would let you peeps know a bit more about Grinn.

Ian (Rhythm Smurph) and myself as well as being Sisters rip-off's DO infact write ORIGIONAL material! We actually have an album available too! This album "Grinnstitutionalized" was recorded March/April this year before the departure of our origional Drummer to Canada (a real drummer!). At this point, Mark (Bass SMurph) was also with us, but he has since left due to there not being enough hours in the day and he has other bands too!

So, if you are curious about what we do other than the Sisters, please have a look at :

www.grinnuk.com

If you fancy a copy of the album, you can find out how to order on the site. Theres also a messageboard so please say hi, and if you are in the UK and like things other than the Sisters i hope you can catch us at some point. Hopefully we may do a few gigs with Rhombus which would be cool!

In Grinn, Ian (Rhythm Smurph) sings lead and plays rhythm guitar, i play lead guitar and do backing vocals. Lee and Nev now do drums and bass respectively.

Please have a look and ask me some questions if you are veguely interested!

Ta muchly,
Paddy.

The Vine - Leeds - is that the one on the Headrow?

I can feel the first gig of the year coming on...

That's the one. It's a nice little venue with great live sound (both onstage and off), unlike The F****n...

cheers Scardy, I'd better start engineering some permission.

Just downloaded Scars off the website - well bowled Paddy, it stonks.

Just a thought, roughly related to the fine boot DVD of The White Stripes that's on at the mo' - all non-mechanical drummers should definitely be female - preferably Ms White herself.

Anyway, on the strength of Scars I'll now most certainly be at the Vine. Hopefully we won't get our heads kicked in like the last time I walked within punching distance of that place (a long time ago - we'd been to see Ian McNabb at The Duchess and found ourselves in the wrong place at the wrong time).

Wow - a thread from history!!!

We'll be testing out some new songs as part of the Vine set and all opinions are welcome - we have already restructured Purgatory based on feedback from the last couple of gigs.

Oh - and scars will definately be in the set!

Indeed - we have been offered Edinburgh on Saturday April 17th so Drakes would be cool if there is any chance of Friday April 16th - I'm hoping for Glasgow on the 18th

Oh, and for the record - anyone with likely promotor contact details for Japan and Europe, especially Scandanavia - please get in touch

Ian

Bollox. T'missus came home last night and announced her on-call for Feb, yep, sunday 8th.

However, I'll keep an eye on the site for the TBCs to be C'd, particularly the Castleford gig - will that be The Lion - if not it ought to be - fine pub, fine little gig venue (very small though) - last time I went in there was a brilliant yet awful death metal band on. And the Leeds shows of course.

Ms Wolf,

The Rhombus/Grinn gig in Bradford is free entry and not till April.

That gives you plenty of time to seek a little gamefull employment, set up a dodgy business, commit fraud or rob a pensioner!

Any how Grinn are 'The Ducks Nuts' and you can quote me on that
