Anyone in Manchester or its environs?

Because I am both Dutiful Son and Evil Bastard, I'm planning on coming back to the UK in September for a couple of weeks. Since Virgin has fücked about with its scheduling, I find myself with a day in Manchester on Saturday the 18th with nothing to do and no-one to do it with. The thought occurred that I could pop over to Leeds, but is there anyone in Manchester or nearby who fancies a pint (or more than 1) that afternoon?
