It's been announced that he died this morning, aged 85.

A true originator, a mad genius if there was ever one. I love so much of his work. We were lucky to have him.

very sad news. i burned all my dub-receptors out eons ago smoking cocanut bongs in the ghetto (an' ting) but along with Augustus Pablo and Mad Peofessor he was a legend.
