TMQ question (help needed for the upcoming bootleg encyclopedia)

Hi guys,

As I am putting the finishing touch to my upcoming Sisters bootleg encyclopedia (vol 1, the LPs, 261 pages of dense nerdy text, not counting the color plates), I would like to confirm one point:

My understanding is that the TMQ bootlegs (the plain jacket with text titles such as Ghostriderz and Floor Show, and the xerox cover bootlegs such as Ghost Riders and Wholy Ghost) were made in America

Some people seem to think they were actually German-made like the TAKRL series (and potentially related to the TSP label).

Does anybody have some facts to prove it one way or another?
For instance, where these bootlegs easily available in the US in 1988-1990 ?
thanks!

This seems to settle the TMQ question.
