John Robb is such great raconteur and this podcast is not to be missed. He talks about growing up in the north, his love of Glam and the Goth book he's been working on. You don't need to wait long for the first Eldritch references.

I could listen to John Robb all day, I fact I was so taken with this i listened to it again - still smiling at the fact Dave Ball and Chris Lowe were at the same school, 1 year apart - what are the odds on that!
Martyn Ware's other podcasts are worth a listen too, sometimes the most unexpected guest are the most interesting. Martin Atkins (PIL) is fascinating as are the ones from Chris Sullivan and Lloyd Cole. In fact, as I had zero interest in the music of Blue Rondo I did not expect to enjoy the Chris Sullivan one - but it's a great listen!

Can't say I was overly fussed about the guys interview style, and I irk quickly at someone asking their (far more interesting) guest a question before trying to answer it themselves, or interrupting the guest mid-answer with some largely irrelevant personal observation. No matter, Robb's musings were as on-the-mark as ever here, so it was great

Yes, that's a trait that repeats throughout the interviews - but thus far I've been able to put up with it due to the interest and insights coming from the guests themselves.
