Is there one of those for "your" and "you're"?mugabe wrote:In the meantime: http://www.angryflower.com/itsits.gif
To not know and to ask a question is a moment of embarrassment; to not know and not ask is a lifetime of shame.

or even "there", "their" and "they're"
as in the memorable headline (on the story of undergraduates' poor grasp of grammar) : "they don't know their there from their they're"

oh ok.
this really is the nearest thing to a photo of me with a quiff i will be able to get my hands on. it's still pretty quiffy in shape, if not in texture

The nearest thing I could find to me with a quiff. Actually taken a good 6 months after I had it cut and started using wax instead of blow-drying it, thus making it look spikey rather than coiffured...
You can still see the general shape of the quiff. At it's finest, it was a little higher than this at the front and a little shorter than this at the back. And the sides were graduated from top to bottom, decreasing in length right down to a razor cut/grade 0. They called it "a cat cut". As in "Hep Cat"...

it's not really worth posting this one on the gallery, but just so you can see it from the side and back...
taken moments before the other one - that's what prompted me to turn around and grin
dear god. the lengths you have to go to in order to convince some people...
