I was listening to Long Train today, and something about it just suddenly reminded me a lot of Ghostrider. I'm not sure why - just the vibe, and the looseness of it all. Oh, and right at the end Eldritch actually sings "ride, ride, ride-ride-ride." And I wondered whether Long Train might be, in a way, Eldritch's attempt to create The Sisters' own version of Ghostrider. Has that ever occurred to anyone? Or am I totally barking up the wrong tree?

Yep, always thought it was heavily influenced by Ghostrider also.

So now i have to go and listen to one of the very best Ghostrider/ Louie Louie -Albert Hall. Brimstobe & Treacle version.
