Can't quite believe I'm writing this, but I could live with a set not featuring Marian .

More, Jeep/Det.

And a set without FALAA is unforgivable imho

I never need to hear Doctor Jeep again.

Can we have Train back instead?

Seconded. And that's even before the segue into Detonation Boulevard.

I really like Vision Thing, but I could go without Doctor Jeep or More for a while. Von's current voice can sound good, namely on the new songs, but I think his growling vocal style doesn't do the VT era songs much justice.

We don't need Alice at this point, do we? It's one song where Ben's arrangement doesn't do it for me, and it always feels shoehorned in as a necessary concession, Ace Of Spades style, to get the old goths boppin' along. I feel like the set stops dead in its tracks when Alice rolls around these days.

I will call you
I was wrong (I prefer the semi-acoustic version from mid-00s, or just bring Something Fast back);
More (it was fun having it back for a while, but it got old fast)
Marian (same as before, plus I don't particularly appreciate how fast it is played, or the fact it's played in G instead of E now).
Jeep (Train was a lot better).
But Genevieve (fine song, but it's taking Suzanne's spot on the setlist, and we all know which is the better song).

- how about they do both one after the other… :D

Agree with most mentioned.

Ribbons needs moving to encore for a tour then dropping forever.
Eyes of Caligula - shocking song both musically and lyrically.

Sold, to ROBBIE, get rid of both, and put Logic on that slot instead :innocent:.
Turns out 'it is time, Genevieve', time to go.

Here's my problem with getting rid of Ribbons: Whilst I think it was overplayed, I fear what Von's idea of a good replacement might be. Ideally, FALAA could take that spot, but Von could always throw a curveball and replace it with Six Ways to Sunday, and then we just exchanged a perfectly good song for 45 secs of chord progression over poetry.

So, collating these results reveals that they should, according to the hardcore fanbase, drop more or less every song they currently play

Go on stage
Play heartland
Play black planet
Refuse to elaborate
Ends the show

There you go, the sisters in 2025 according to these results

 enigmatic!

(and more than a little retro, I guess they could smash a guitar or two up before nobbing off the stage for added enigma  )

I agree with Jeep/Detonation, but I like the current version of Marian
Of the new songs, I wouldn't miss I Will Call You or When I'm On Fire.

Ribbons to me feels a bit rote lately with Andrew mumbling through a monotone wall of guitars, it's still a cool song of course but I think I'd rather have Better Reptile or something

How soon we forget that Marx was kicked out of the "Wake" rehearsals precisely because he wanted to play Heartland

Nah but seriously, the girls left out Vision Thing and Dominion in 2022 and I don't remember anyone being grateful

Definitely need to drop Jeep/Det and give Ribbons a bloody rest too....I was at the Newcastle gig last year and I was kinda disappointed they are now opening the set with Jeep/Det......its not as if they have a limited back catalogue, and I'm sure they could get something better to replace it.....its getting as bad as Marc Almond/Soft Cell always finishing a set with Say Hello, Wave Goodbye...(great song, but it's getting so predictable!)

I enjoy both, but it's good that the new songs have us talking and arguing over them in this way. :notworthy:

Jeep/Det. Bring back Train and/or Suzanne instead.

Of the new songs that are still in regular rotation, When I'm On Fire feels the most unfinished to me. Wouldn't hurt to rest It.

For a number of years I've been thinking I could do with a lot less More.

Beyond that I'm pretty cool with the rest until I start thinking what I'd love back in. If keeping the new songs, Id happily swap out any of the recent FALAA tracks to bring back Logic, Nine While Nine, FALAA or SKOS.
Any Floodland hits bar Lucretia for Neverland and a long overdue debut for Driven Like Anow
Alice for Body Electric.

Open with FALAA or Kiss The Carpet end with Vision Thing, sorted
