What To Do In Brighton

I'm off to Brighton next weekend for a works conference / AGM type ballocks, and figure on spending as little time as poss at the meeting.

SO, could anyone recommend any decent record shops, and more importantly, decent clubs to boogie in? Rock / Alternative / Goth (cyber preferably) would be best, but I can quite happily large it in a good techno / rave gaff. :D  :D

Any help or suggestions whatsoever would be most groovy. Cheers.

brighton you say?

i'd recommend the train station or the a27 as the quickest routes out of london-by-the-sea and back to civilisation...

I haven't been there for a couple of years but for record shops try the Old Lanes. There are a couple of groovy caffs there as well.
