Nothing to look at but ...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... gory=27347

Sellers response ...

"1) do not have facility (to scan). photograph of churchgoers with 3/4 of a cross on roof of church
2) head in the star on Damage Done side with MR7 PICTURE/ PORKY PRIME CUT/FOR SPIGGY on runoffs
3) tracklisting on the watch side with MR7 WORDS/ANUDDER PRIMECUT/FOR TRIXIE on runoffs"

Original? From seller's description?

  Hmm, my thinking was along those lines but much more polite in my response to his email with 'Oh, gosh. Thanks for that info. Great, smashing etc etc ...'

Question: 1000 originals; how many still in circulation? Any ideas?

I have to admit to being sorely tempted as I don't currently own it.

But the picture issue!! grrrrrr, tough call...

As pointed out I also got a similar reply to my email.....

True or False?? the Japaneese copies dont have the ROGI info?

Are there any other copies around that anyone knows of? Which do have the right credentials as the original?

Hmmm, Just not sure..

Sure

Personally, if I was selling anything on ebay that I knew was valuable, then I would do everything, to make the auction look as attractive as possible, to entice and encourage a bidding war.

absolutely. especially when its going for so much and there are so many fakes around of that particular record. the only real way of identifying it as genuine is to see a picture of it.

otherwise its just a gamble, with stupidly long odds and high stakes... :urff:

If I had a copy of Damage Done to sell (which I dont :-))
I would offer it here on this wonderful forum before going any near "ebay" or suchlike.

Perhaps someone could suggest "here" to the seller and then it may be possible to find out if the 7" is real or not!

Having checked out what other items the seller has - including a copy of "body electric" at £10.50 - perhaps it could be a fake!

Has anyone had any dealings with the seller before or any dealings with a seller who lives in

Location: ALCESTER United Kingdom

Knew You'd Be Pleased.....

Notice that the Body Electric single hasn't reached it's reserve price yet though.
