Really like the Lambchop version of TC.
Who knew there was a laidback country acoustic vibe there? And no attempt to be gother-than-thou, do a comedy version or to be overly precious about it.
full marks Mr Chop and his friends.

Last time I saw Lambchop they did TC & Kurt actually got out of his chair and started climbing all over it - rock n roll or what
The most laid back band ever .

Just given this a listen, starts off sounding really weird to start with but definately gets groovy pretty soon.
Very impressed. And thank you to the wonders of the p2p network for providing me with such a gem!

Yeh, it's one of the the best, definitely. Really nice to hear a cover that adds something genuinely new to the original song.

i love that cover.its so laid back it redefines the whole genre of lounge-coredom and takes it to another level.beautifull.
i hagve half a dozen remixes and covers of t.corrosion kicking about here.
what about the Spiral Tribe remix?true to the original, but has a more funkier edge to it i think...and theres that one thats got the bag pipes in as well.
top rate for comedy camp-dom,the first ive found yet which salutes the sisters but has its tongue firmly in its cheek whilst doing so.
alsways looking for other oddities/remixes/bizarre covers which are sisters related,so should anyone have anything which they'd like to pass on/share please let me know.

Spiral tribe was a bit dull. Not heard the bagpipes. You couldn't... you know... could you? I'd be awfully grateful!

about TC by In Extremo - you could check the video:
http://www.inextremo.de/_content_e/downloads.html
although this band isn't my cup of tea (i've seen them on the stage in M'era Luna 2002), there's one thing about this video i consider quite witty - if we compare the original video and the other we see one's element is water and other's is fire.

just seen that. Oh dear -- that's so fantastically dreadful. Very very funny indeed. more fire! more bag pipes!

lol, will have a look in a mo...could use some smile-aid at the min.
tis a beautifull thing tho the tune...
cant be an eay thing trying to cover T.C can it?its such a huge tune in itself theres so little you'd want to mess with incase you did it a disservice.
bravo to them i say...and extra brownie points for the use of outlandish and utterly un rock like instruments.
bring on the air bag pipers, and follow them on with some air lute whilst your at it..
in some quaters air instrumentalism is considered an art form all of its own
oh i did have Temple of Pink on file a while ago..that was scarey.audio assualt of the highgest caliber.
imagine listening to the 90's version of Temple....then you know "Pink" by Aerosmith?ok....bring to mind Steve Tylers vocal but just when he sings "pink"ok...now insert this into Temple whenever the chorus reaches the word love.
what you get is Temple sounding as it always has done, but with steve tyler nipping in screeching the word "pink" instead of Mr E. singing the word "love"(as in "in the temple of "Pink"").it was horrid then, and in the complete boll*ocks remix/cover stakes it reigned supreme for me.

I just bought the new Lambchop CD. The version of TC really works, which suprised me. The guys voice is really unusual.

hmmm.i cant watch it it seems.
Realplayer may have a 14 day freebie trial thing but it involves signing up for it as if you are going to subscribe to the paid version and leaving credit card details and stuff...which doesnt seem to clever.
any other way of playing this now that ive got it downloaded?

I've just used RealOne to play the video no problem. I'm using the free version.

Extremo. Ha.
Very very amusing.
Sounds a bit like Die Krupps doing Metallica, or equally as laughable.

Rammstein with bagpipes, isn't it?
by the way, there are more similar bands in Germany.
I prefered Tanzwut - more funny and more electronic

Yeah -- comedy goth. I enormously enjoyed Knorkator's Bose.
Would much appreciate a copy of the TC bagpipes extremo thing... anyone?
and what about Tanzwut. Just had a peek at their website. very funny -- I thought Rammstein were camp, but these guys are hilarious!
Can anyone recommend the best Tanzwut to have a go at? I like the idea of bagpipes. more bagpipes.
thanks all
