I noticed that many of you have some rather great avatars so I would like to know, what sites did you take them all from?
I took mine from the
http://www.fourth-floor.co.uk site and it shows Sisters(Andrew,Patricia and the famous Doktor) at the height of their success in 1987 at the time of "Floodland" release.

I like yours too, one of my fave piccies of Von & Patsy.
Mine is from www.westgatenecromantic.com....has a nice section full of artsy pics of Death in various guises.I decided to give my original avatar of Von a rest.

Well if there was something new to promote, and it was offered to me to promote I'd definitely give it a go. But that ain't gonna happen now, is it?
I'll stick to being the bastard self promotionalist you all know and tolerate

I do that Photoshop/FreeHand/Quark XPress thing for a living, so I usually make my own with any and all images plundered from what I find.

Have you played American McGee's Alice?

Halfway through you wish someone would kill the flippin' rabbit!

It's a PC game.
http://www.alice.ea.com/main.html Have a browse on the site n see what you think.I think there's a demo version you can download if you want a go.It's a hard game, I usually leave it till a friend comes over to get to the next level, as I'm not that smart
Alice in it is like your avatar, she kicks butt
Hope this helps!

For hopeless eighties obsessives like myself, an excellent site for pictures is the top of the pops 2 site,
www.bbc.co.uk/totp2
you can also find out what the lead singer from 'A Flock of Seagulls' is doing these days, and learn how to dress like 'Wham!' (a shuttlecock is a necessity)

Thanks Sweetie except I'm on a mac but I'll still have a looksie even if I can't play ( I probably can't play it anyway ). The only game I can play without having to go grovelling to my mate's sixteen year old kid for help is Deus Ex.
They're coming over at the weekend so he can get me out of a jam in the tomb raider 'the last revelation' game. I haven't admitted that I'm stuck on the training bit
well !! it's trickey . She has to run, jump, grab the rope , swing, then drop. It's tricky...isn't it ??

You're welcome
The actual CD rom is only for Windows(booo hiss)
but the demo version doesn't say whether it will run on both.I checked the site to see. Just take care if you do decide to download it. I'd hate to think I buggered anyone's PC by making a recommendation
BTW I read your thoughts about Lucretia & well cool
