Like in '93 at Brixton. It was great! You could be sure that AE would say nothing about Christmas at all, the lights were great and it was the perfect antidote to all the commercialised sh*te going on in the high street. Wonderful. 8)

I refer the gentleman to my previous post at

D.I.S.C.O. is the perfect cover version at ANY Sisters gig, but, c'mon, which Christmas song would you like to see performed at a Christmas gig?

In view of the totally over-the-top 'He's got the whole F****n' world in his hands' performed at Reading, may I propose a cover of 'Come they told me, Pa-Rum-Pa-F****n'-Tum' by Bing Crosby and David Bowtie? I'd play bass, if required.

The Bowie / Crosby track is called "Little Drummer Boy" - Unless I am mistaken ?

Yes you are correct. It is the Only version of that song I can tolerate.

Bing Crosby was a wonderful talent. And paired with Mr. Bowie...supberb! Their vocal ranges complement each other wonderfully.

:innocent:

As for Von at Christmas..

Um well..I'd like him gift wrapped underneath my Christmas tree...so

Everyone.. I expect you to put that upon your Planet's WishList..and deliver him up so!!!!

LOL :innocent: :von:

I think pikkrong is on to something... "Always look on the bright side of life" would be an awesome, awesome song for a Christmas set list!

I think you should post that in the Intro Music topic, it would be a great starter. :D

How about "Happy Christmas (War Is Over)" in a "stop draggin my heart around" acapella style ;-)

Not really - that page is in isolation and doesn't link to the rest of my site.

However, no one is going to sell my book except me.
So yeah, I'm whoring for publicity.
Drop on by, you might like what I've got to say.

And if you don't, no foul.

Shameless Self Promotion?

At least Hal's not the only one. And I say go for it! I'll check your site when I am able to get away from the cd burner!

But it's not actually a vampire story. Lady Methedrine, the eponymous White Vampyre is in a fact a metaphor for the protagonist's drug addiction.
The book is more Film noir meets Cyber Punk.

I'm still in the early stages but I will certainly "share" the more interesting ones.
If I can achieve some rhyme or reason with them I may also burn the whole lot on to a CD with pdfs of the various reviews I've writen over the years. This would be for trading if anyone's interested.

If they are SISTERS-RELATED, I'm interested 8)
And you could upload them here, too.
Or point to the links on your homepage - as you did.
It was SISTERS-RELATED, so I wouldn't consider it a self-promotion :notworthy:
