sisters were dropped by wea a few years ago so why would they be releasing a remix planned for 2004?
and the sisters stopped using "rise and reverberate" at least 17 years ago.
ten-to-one its just some dj f**king about - 100% unofficial.
would still be interested to hear it though...

It does sound interesting, can't be official I'm sure but have emailed the eBay seller for tracklisting... Dirty Funker has done some house bootleg tracks before (bit more info at
http://www.discogs.com/artist/Dirty_Funker).
Have you seen the eBay guy's p&p charge btw? £7!!!

Just had a mail back from the eBayer - the tracks are as follows:
A - Dirty Funker Remix
B - Dokter Dirty Funkers Avalanche Dub

Yum.
looks sexy
So, it's a boot, it's probably fake, agree with QB's comments. Guessing WEA links severed sometime 1994/5? and whoever it was has gone for the old iconography
but it does look nice and it's not Cdr. Someone has cut this to vinyl. and going by the entry price, Eu10 doesn't say "hens teeth" to me, I'm thinking there are gonna be a few coming up over the next few weeks.
btw - the reverse side is the lyrics to Alice

I'm sure if you email them, they should be able to take the order...
But I haven't tried and I'm not interested in buying stuff like that anyway (but wish I could hear the mixes though).
If anybody eventually gets it, let the forums know how it sounds like.

One released SM001X and one SOM001X
so we have alice remixes and alice "dirty funker"
might have to stump up me 25Eu alone though

lo-fi recording of the alice 2004 "avanche dub"
pretty gosh darn funky in a housegasmic fashion.

Mmmm.
Interesting.
Kinda makes me wanna be bad, in a metaphorical sense.

Just checked the e-bay link and it went for stupid money - £51!
What's the idiot's guide for buying direct from the site?
Do you have to spend a minimum of 25 euros?
Not so much technically challenged as chronically lazy!

its a corking remix, i have a freind in germany who picked a copy up today, its a really good remix of the classic tune we all know and love, he played it me down the phone, i hope to get a mp3 of it later today, he said the sleeve is stunning

For anyone who wants a cheaper and easier way of getting this vinyl, do a search for "sisters of mercy" here:
http://www.juno.co.uk
£5.99 + £1.80 p&p... Slightly cheaper than the £43 the guy at
http://www.spiritproductions.net wanted to sell me one for. Sorry if anyone's kicking themselves right now

the juno copies are fakes, i got one from spirit for £20, i would rather have the original than the fake one, good luck out there

just curious to know why you think they're fakes?

the spirit site says its a white label single - so does it come with the "artwork" shown on the ebay item above?
and if so, do the juno copies also come with the same artwork?
if not, where did the artwork shown above come from?
