i'm quite a fan of tight clingy clothes on my men.
and besides, its a free night out. not to be knocked.
i'm informed by a man who allegedly knows that they playtheir guitars jolly well, too.

i shall get suitably drunk.
things have been a bit dodgy lately, so a good bit of nonsense should clear my head a bit.

Great album, but I thought they were dreadful at the Odeon last week. Mind you, i was upstairs and the sound was shocking (everyone else appeared to like it).
should be a good gig!

Didn't Von say somethign like he believed in abortion up to the age of 25? Something like that...
Mate went to that Tindersticks, they're her favourite band, but said they weren't up to much.
Jane's Addiction at Brixton last Friday. Now they were superb. I wasn't expecting that much coz I don't know much about them -- po-faced indie rock I thought. Gosh, he was a twisted little cabaret fiend -- corset and all.

missed JA. shame. i remember raving about the 1st album and no one listened to me.
we enjoyed last week. last time we saw them they did all new album stuff and this time it was the 'hits'. almost singalong!

A bit like Spinal Tap, only worse tunes and unbearable vocals.

Congrats Emily
A free nite out isn't to be knocked!
The other girls in my office would love it though. They've tried brainwashing me with the cd..Can't say they've converted me
Hope you have a groovy time though.

They're a gimmick band and people think they're "brilliant"!!!!! Just how dumbed down is this country getting?

Balls, I knew there was something I had to do - get tkts to see Jane's Addiction - damn.
Ah well - you're right Emily (soz for being familiar), the first album kicks red ass, they all do. Seen 'em a few times in their first incarnation, and at Leeds Fest last year - always top notch. I can't really believe I forgot they were playing.
As for the Darkness, enjoy yerself - always a top nite out when it's free!

Went to see Lee Scratch Perry last night. i've had a bath but still stink of smoke. after 11.30, it was a waste of effort for anyone to skin up - you could have sold the air.
