I think this may make me the most unpopular poster on the board. I shall now hastily include a disclaiming smiley:
LR
PS: long life and happiness to AE, obv...

Shesh. Ian Astbury's headband is in the lead. How vile.
Speaking of IA, has anyone seen that complete cult trying to do his Jim Morrison bit with the remains of the doors? It sounds such an entirely ghastly idea I couldn't bear the thought of going.

Amongst The Cult fans it's popular gig and supposed to be very good.

Given the timing you've presented I've got to go for completely forgetten.
Now, had he snuffed it round about the release of FALAA I reckon Hussey and Adams would have high jacked the Sisters, Marx would still have been out, and Von would be a kind of legendary Bon Scott figure.
Worst still - no Floodland!
Had he pegged it after A Slight Case Of Overbombing, then we might be seeing the Jim Morrison type thing.

Hey, if Tupac can put out six albums and three movies postmortem, I for one think AE has no excuse. Last night I told a friend that I had seen the Sisters live last April, and her only question was, "Are they still around?" And she's Anglo. Humph.
