Sisters on film

The Sisters have tried a couple of times to get pre-existing songs onto the soundtrack of a film, and were afterwards glad that they didn't achieve it, as the films were not as good as hoped: 'Things To In Denver When You're Dead' (great script, great cast, but unfortunately lacklustre direction) and 'Judge Dredd' (great comic, Joan Chen, but unfortunately an all-round bad film).
The Sisters have often spent time getting their music taken off the soundtrack to dodgy B-movies (like 'Wayne's World'). They're certainly not interested in dodgy-darkling films.
Which Dennis Hopper film does a Sisters track appear in? Whereanouts in the film? and is it prominent, or is it playing in the background for six seconds?
and why did the 'Wayne's World' people want to use a Sisters track in the film? On the official Sigue Sigue Sputnik site, Tony James mentions that he met the director of Wayne's world, Penelope Spheeris. Perhaps he recomended to her that she use a Sisters song (off Vision Thing, perhaps), but Von wasn't keen on the idea?

I think the Dennis Hopper thing was just a reference to Apocalypse Now and the Sisters music doesn't actualy apear in any of his films, and I'm also thinking that the song not in Waynes world was temple of love 92, I could though be completley wrong

I remember reading somewhere that they wrote Temple Of Love for Apocalypse Now, retrospectively like.

I dont think it is true, I think it's more a case of " If I was going to write music for any film it would be Apocalypse now". And remember you have got that sample in the Canadian club remix of Vision Thing. A popular film in the Eldritch camp.
On a related note, there where rumours flying around that Under the gun was going to be on the soundtrack to The Crow until Brandon Lee was shot, then it was pulled.
This is of course utter bullsh*t.
