Strange Fruit - Radio Sessions

The Sisters have recorded a few sessions but the (generally speaking) quality tends to be a bit ropey (eg Radioland etc). When people say "the good old days" - bollocks - what was good about radio being in Medium Wave?
What are the chances of the Eldritch/Hussey stuff ever getting sorted to the point that Strange Fruit et al might be able to issue some of the older material?
Should we just consign thoughts like this to the bin?

Well the 1984 Peel Session was on BBC Radio 6 recently, and in fine digital quality too.
As for the rest, the BBC managed to lose the master tapes of the 1982 Peel Session (this was mentioned in one of the UTR's) so that's that. And I wouldn't be surprised if the 1983 Jensen session suffered the same fate.
Still, there are bootlegs of these around that are of reasonably good quality.

Janice Long repeated the 1983 Jensen session on 20th Jan 1987. Sadly Radio 1 was only medium wave in my area at that time

Plus the band took home stereo recordings of all the sessions themselves, though I suspect only on cassette rather than something of releasable quality. This I can cofirm as one band 'associate' has all of the first two sessions in stereo on tapes he copied from Andrew. Not that he'll let me copy them, seems to think they'd be all over the internet like a rash for some reason...
