Hi

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hi,

I'm new. Thought I'd pop up and say hello in authentic irritating newbie stylie.

Name's Andy (like you probably guessed). Live in Essex. Sisters fan, among a huge pile of CDs covering everything from obscure Icelandic electro through to Bach. In no particular order.

Happy to talk rubbish about music, football (Sunderland fan stranded in West Ham land - it's painful), most other sports, politics, religion/philosophy, art and any other stuff.

Disclaimer: a willingness to talk about something should not imply any knowledge of the topic under consideration. The author reserves the right not to know what he's talking about.

So hey, just ask.

Andy.

Welcome aboard the Heartland Express. If you've lurked before coming out ...don't say you haven't been warned.

I'm not straying too far from cover - yet. Not done much lurking, but have plenty of time to waste in the office.

Hehe, welcome to the asylum. If you want to know what the encore was when the Sisters played the Kentucky Forum in 1998, this is the place to ask. If you know when we're gonna get a new album, this is the place to tell.

Hello fellow football fan.
To not know and to ask a question is a moment of embarrassment; to not know and not ask is a lifetime of shame.

It's Holly Valance, using different images as popstars do these days. I'd call that a goth-ish image. 8)

Huh! I thought it was some French moviestar from the sixties or something. I guess that's the postmodern condition for you.

That's right, every trend gets watered down to meaningless fashion eventually. No matter how serious it was in the first place.

Welcome Andy!

Discussions of toilet habits are the norm these days. Feel free.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Wow, thanks guys.

After Saturday's fiasco I'm not actually talking about football until we win again (that'll be about March, then). I'll stick to any other rubbish for a while.
