Resolutions

Anybody making any this year? Can't think of anything suitable for me. If I give up anything else I'll have nothing left to enjoy in life

Maybe I could resolve to take up a bad habit instead, as a reward for good behaviour. At least I'm not joining a gym in order to make two visits, look at some of the machines and virtuously decide it's too much like hard work.

Must spend less time on the internet and do more creative things! And I want to find a different place to work.

The same as every year. Must stop smoking, getting too drunk too often and being a tw@t. Even just one out of three would be nice.

LOL :notworthy:
I gave up with all those kind of resolutions a long time ago.
My only one for 2004 is to be a bit happier in all things and pick up on my metaphysical interests again

I'm planning on spending 2004 in a state of ascetic denial, "No more beating my brains with
the liquor and drugs" for this boy.

No more chocolate, crisps or carbonated drinks.
No snacking between meals - just three a day.
Less time on line, more time polishing the word stuff.

And I am being serious.
It is time to focus my will again.
The path of the negative way beckons...

I may not find God but I am hoping to pen at least one perfect metaphor!

well, in the finest tradition of making resolutions that don't even last until breakfast on new year's day i shall resolve to be less sarcastic, more welcoming and kind to small animals and old ladies....

I see we've got a Broken Hearts Club going here. Never fear, you'll all get over it. Believe me, I speak from experience.

Just remember, voodoo dolls are wonderfully therapuetic toys.

My resolution? I'm with Thrash...and already one up. I don't smoke.

Well, you've found one for me. Just to p*ss you all off I'm going to vow to fall in love more easily for a change. I remember having emotions once. It was a bit odd, but I'm sure I could do it again if suitably inspired.

my half-arsed resolutions include
spending less money
going to more gigs (yeah yeah damned hypocrite...)
learn german (properly i mean. you can only go so far on lacrimosa lyrics)
to be less snidey behind the backs of canadian guitarists called chris
to defragment more often
to watch more doctor who
to stop cutting my hair myself
to either move or learn to drive
to spend more time with Black Horizon
to see doctors when i'm ill rather than just drinking cough medicene and hitting things
to go to london more
and manchester
to get at least two more peircings and stretch at least one of my ears so i can fit my little finger through
to do my coursework. even if it does suck monkeys
to fix the door because there's a draft
to stop being mean towards norton, walkley, shalesmoor and other areas of sheffield i dislike.

i'm bound to keep at least one of 'em - right?

@ andymackem...Oh please...don't you find the lack of emotion at least liberating? Love stinks. I think a song was written on it. Take my word for it....Love...just flush it down the toilet.

@ Doomwolf...Doomie you have too many. Pick one. I'd say going to more gigs..or ...spending more time with BH. And holy s**t I'm having a real dejavu moment here..BH..Ha...my BH can rot in hell. And I know he will. :D ;D

Maybe I ought to resolve to be kinder?

LOL

No way.

Happy 2004 All!
