if we cant have the sisters, its gotta be a toss up between the neph and alien sex fiend.
both very different but both emboddied what the various strands of goth were about.
the neph had better basslines, but asf had better backcombed hair
or maybe bauhaus, who were very dark, very arty and very very silly. which again is what goth is (was?) about

Are Suicide Commando goth? Or techno-cyber goth? Or not?
If they are, then them.

Neph. Saw them on the '90 "Earth Inferno" tour and I still think it was probably the best gig I've ever been to.

The Cure. Except Robert would probably roll his eyes at me calling The Cure goth. Well. Pah to you, Bob.

Hahaha...I agree with you on the Elvis thing. I've had Simon's sweat on me before now. Rather gross.
And I'd rather take either Perry or Roger. Mmmm.

The Near Meth Experience - lead singer looks a bit like Rutger Hauer.
Remember them?

I'd have to pick the Nephs 'cause they were the first proper band I ever saw live and I was totally blown away. I've never been the same since!
After them it would have to be The Mish and The Cure (although alot of their stuff is more pop than goth.)
