official statement for immediate distribution

following a week of unprecedented rumour-mongering, tittle-tattle and vaguely libellous statements i have decided, in consultation with other interested parties, to clarify matters with the following statement:
"the entities known to you all as RicheyJames and Sexygoth are not and never have been two facets of one individual. both mr james and ms goth are entirely independent citizens of both heartland and the (shudder) real world and any further suggestion contrary to this may be met with legal action by either one or both parties wishing to protect their reputation.
further to this, there have been certain claims that mr james and ms goth may be somehow engaged in some unspecified and ill-defined form of a relationship. mr james would like to make it clear at this point that whilst it is true that he has spent an increasing amount of time in the company of ms goth over recent weeks this should not necessarily be construed by any unrelated parties as the basis for any ongoing relationship. although the sex is pretty damn good."
my intention in releasing this statement is both to put an end to some of the more outlandish rumours which have appeared here recently and to reduce the number of "nudge-nudge, wink-wink" style comments authored by those who believe they know what others do not. to this end any future enquiries seeking further clarification of the above statement will be met with a "no comment" response until such time as all interested parties have fully defined an ongoing press strategy. it is further anticipated that other parties may release statements of their own in the coming hours.
