Is ot ok to have a bottle of beer after finishing a night shift?? (As it really is my evening) Bit worried that I'll be called an alcoholic if I'm drinking at 9 in the morning!!!!

Tis nice to wind down though before doing to bed!!

Have a bottle of wine. Or vodka. You're not an alcoholic unless you go to the meetings.

...& if you drink enough beer to make you sleep, you'll then only have to get up for a wee...can't you tax some ether or chloroform from work?

I drink too much coffee when I get back anyway, so I'm always getting up for a wee...............

i'm with markfiend on this one: alcoholics go to meetings; i don't go to meetings; ergo, i am not an alcoholic.

Drinking before bedtime is normal. When you reach for the bottle when you wake up, then you can start worrying.
