Has anybody else noticed that Christers site is down at the present , and if so ,does anybody know why..........

It will be a big blow if it is down permanantly , as for me it is the best on the web,as a resource site

No idea if it is a permanent change. Christer has not appeared in a long time. Has anyone had contact with him in the past year?

I last heard from Christer about a year and a half ago. At the time he was snowed under with studies (to become a lawyer or a doctor - I can't remember which). I guess some people do have a life after The Sisters after all...!

What does that say about the 400+ sobs registered here?

Anyway, with Christer's serious collection, you figured that he would have showed himself at some point.

Robin Coleman hasn't appeared on here either - his collection far exceeds that of Christer's AFAIK... maybe they're just lurking. :von:

Could be.

Robin does make appearances on dominion, though. Often it leads to a conversation in Dutch. Probably half of the list understands those posts anyway. :D

There are also Robin cameos in other threads here as well. http://www.myheartland.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3768 8)

I may be an enabler  ; I do not bid against him just so that he has a better chance of winning an item, at least at a lower price. That is what friends do, right?

Has anybody out there saved the pages, with the gigs and set lists,to their hard discs(from sisterstrading.com).
And if so would anybody be willing to copy, zip them up and e-mail them to me?

if anyone wishes to contact christer (somehow?), please tell him i am prepared to host an "archived" copy of his site for "research" purposes... if he has a backup of course! :)

it was a rather spiffing "tool" 8)

however, you could always have a look at the "traders" section on our very own Hal's site :von:

I have the site backed up on my HD from May 2003. The only problem is that some of the images are directed to load from Christer's site and not the pics on my HD. I don't know why.

QB: If you want to host an archive, I can send you the files but you will have to make some adjustments to display the pics.

Another option would be to go to http://web.archive.org/web/200307152017 ... index.html. It may not have the nice green graphics, but it may provide at least gig information.

No problem, elguiri. I am glad to help. I am also glad that someone here is happy with me.

Can anyone provide the nice green graphics which went with the site as well?

Christer is missing from the real world as well. Last time I heard from him where 3 weeks before we where going to Amsterdam, 30.03.03. Before leaving Stockholm for Amsterdam I stopped by at his apartment but hi wasn´t home, he had about 3 weeks mail on the floor. I´ve tried to reach him trough his former work, but they said that he was ill the last time they heard from him. Perhaps Christer have caught a very ill deseace. None of the other frieds of Christer in Stockholm have either seen him or heard a single word from him.
I´ve tried to track down his brothers and sister, but no luck so far.

I talk with him on beginning of 2003. He said that he changed place of living (buy apartment). He said he has ticket for Amsterdam gig but he can't be able to going on this one becouse he has a lot of work. And then shortly he stoped answer on e-mails. Hope he's ok. I do my first Sisters trade with Christer :|
As rather offline one I have two versions of Christer site.
'Sisterstrading.com' Last update: 7 January 2003
and older one with Last updated: December 31st 2001
All pictures are working etc.
When Christer make he's new layout (with all these bootleg descriptions etc.), he sand me a proto-version of site which was a little bit different that final version but I delated it.

The last time, i've heard from christer was late of the 2003 year.we've had a great (and drunked) time in bonn museumplatz with his brother and he we become to be friend. After always pleasant trade and mails we met us in bex and have a great time becoming slightly toasted with french beer the afternoon before the gig. And then, he just mail me to annonce his success to his physical thesis, this was the last time I've heard from him.
I hope that all is ok because Christer is a great man and a friend
