EBM is fun. given the choice i'd rather listen to trad - but there are some fantastic EBM acts around. i'm not wild on putting labels on music - there's allways some smartarse who'll stand up and say "they're not futurepop! they're post-industrial pseudometal!" or something just as daft.
so... umm... yes. lots of good bands around. trad, EBM and otehrwise

EBM is pretty good, the club I go to (Chains on Velvet in Norwich
www.chainsonvelvet.co.uk) plays quite alot of it. I do get bored of it after a little while though. it's more fun to jump around to Siouxsie or the Birthday Party(esp release the bats). They has a dj from Slimelight once and it was rrreeaaallllyyyyyyyyy bbooorrrriiiinnnnnggggg.

So do I

by Erudite
I used to have a record collection composed almost entirely of Sisters and Nephilim records with the odd bit of Bauhaus, Bunnymen, JAMC, Cure and Banshees thrown in.
This was back in the eighties...
I still enjoy the above but these days I listen to pretty much anything that grabs my fancy.
Motorhead, Tori Amos, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Fat Boy Slim, Hawkwind, Nirvana, BRMC, Iggy Pop, Stooges, Supergrass, Garbage, Ravonettes, and so on.
I guess I'm just another thirty something rocker...
The acid test is; are they good live and are the lights pretty?

What's EBM? Does that answer your question? I've got very catholic tastes. Pretty much anything from Sinatra to the Sisters. I do reggae but I don't do rap. Can't be doing with all that "motherfncking n*gger" sh!t.

I don't like Reggae (Oh No!) but I love early Jamaican Ska! None of your American; No Doubt, Offspring metal/ska lite pish. Can anyone explain that one?
